I know what it’s like to feel like you’re fighting your own body—like no matter how clean you eat, how hard you work out, or how much you “think positive,” nothing changes. I spent years in that battle, pushing my body to be something it didn’t feel safe enough to become. On the outside, I looked like I had it all together—working in healthcare, teaching yoga and meditation, showing up for everyone else. But inside, I was exhausted and disconnected, stuck in cycles of stress and survival.
It took a near-death experience to wake me up. My body was carrying the weight of years of stored trauma, and it finally said, “Enough.” In that moment, I realized the missing piece wasn’t more discipline or motivation. It was safety. My body needed to feel safe before it would let go of the fight.
From that day forward, I stopped trying to fix my body and started listening to it. I learned how to regulate my nervous system, how to move in ways that honored my body’s cues, and how to let go of the old patterns that kept me stuck. And in that process, I lost weight—not through punishment, but through profound healing. I became stronger and more confident than I ever imagined possible.
Today, I help women 40+ who feel stuck in their bodies to regulate their nervous systems so they can finally feel safe enough to create real change—without fighting themselves. My work blends the science of the nervous system with the soul-deep practices of embodiment, self-compassion, and identity rebirth.
